What is the video I chose for this interactive blog prompt is what is Economy. This video is for students who have never been involved with economics before; Therefore, I will discuss how this video is relevant to learning design in an interactive online class in three parts.
In the interactive class, there are many interesting animations in the video, so the video itself can attract students’ attention and bring them into the world of economy. In the video, since there are no questions that need to be answered directly in the video, as a teacher, I will set some knowledge points in the video to urge learners to think and respond. For example, set questions for each part of the video before showing it to the students. At the same time, learners are encouraged to take notes and think about the problem while watching the video. In this way, I try to maximize the positive impact of the student’s interaction with the material.
It’s time for teachers and learners to interact. I think after the students finish watching the video, we can give them some basic economic problems in life, and give them some examples to help them understand. After understanding basic economic theory, our team members will give them some examples of how to apply economics in their daily lives. At the beginning of teaching, they don’t need any tools to practice. All they need is ordinary paper and pens. The students tried to write down the answers to the questions we asked. If they have any questions after class, they can use their mobile phones to take photos and send emails to us. We will answer in detail.
After class, I will ask the learners to discuss in the forum, because the purpose of the forum is to encourage the learners to communicate with each other. Because they are all at the same level of knowledge, interaction with peers will help learners understand better. As a teacher, I can get feedback from the forum as a cue for the next class.
